Runtime error 216 at 07F85EA6

Hello,

I’ve downloaded Xbench 3.0.0 and am trying it out, but I get this error message “Runtime error 216 at 07F85EA6” after spellcheck window is closed, and Xbench hungs up. The error message is not shown when spell-check is deactivated. Does it mean there’s an issue with dictionaries and I cannot use this version for spell-check?

Was Xbench 2.9 installed on your computer? If so, Xbench 2.9 dictionaries are not compatible with Xbench 3.0.

  1. In that case, uninstall Xbench 3.0 completely.
  2. Go to the Xbench installation folder (typically, C:\Program files\ApSIC\Xbench) and remove all remaining files.
  3. Install Xbench 3.0.
  4. In Xbench 3.0, go to Tools > Spell-Checking Dictionaries to install dictionaries.
