Using XBench and Smartling

Hi everyone,

I see in the changelog for Xbench 3.0 Build 1602 (April 4, 2025):

Added support for Smartling CSV format

I’d like to start using XBench to check for tags and numbers before submitting my Smartling translations. However, using Run QA in XBench on the CSV file does not work – the QA window displays incoherent source and target entries. My only options in Smartling’s interface are Export Job as CSV and Export Job as DOCX.

How is the CSV to be used? What does that changelog mean?

There is experimental support for Smartling. If you download the CSV file, you can load it in Xbench by right-clicking on the CSV from the Windows Explorer and then choosing Run QA in Xbench.
