# How to run Xbench on a Mac

Xbench is not supported on the Mac operating system, as it is a Windows program.

Therefore, a Windows virtual machine is needed to run ApSIC Xbench. You can use [Parallels](http://www.parallels.com) or [VMWare Fusion](https://www.vmware.com/products/fusion) to create a Windows virtual machine to run Xbench.
