# Conversion of TMX TM file to TXT format

Hello,

I need to share my Translation Memory in TMX format with other users in TXT format.  
Is there a way to convert a file from TMX format to TXT format ?

Please help.

1. Add the tmx file to a new Xbench project.
2. Go to **Tools \> Export Items**.
3. At the **Format** dropdown, select Tab-delimited text file.
4. Click **…** at the **Filename** field to select the directory and the output filename.
5. Click **OK**.

Thanks a lot for quick solution!

I want to confirm one point. Once we convert the file using above approach, will see only the corresponding segments in Source and Target language.

The idea is to review the segments for source and target segments.

When adding the tmx file to Xbench, click Special Settings to select source and target language.
