Hello,

does Xbench have a documented API? I’d be keen to do some research on the API methods available.

Thank you.
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

Implementation guidelines about programming QA plugins can be found [here](https://docs.xbench.net/programmer-reference-qa-plugins/implementation-guidelines/).

Best regards,
Oscar.

Besides the QA plugins (for example, the instant spell-checking engine is a QA plugin), you can also achieve some automation by generating suitable files for Xbench.

Xbench file formats are documented in [GitHub](https://github.com/xbench/xbench-file-formats).

For example, the Xbench plugin for Studio generates suitable .xbp and .xml files and then launches Xbench.
