Feature request: pls add Excel as glossary file type

#1

It would be great if Xbench could also read Excel files as glossaries. Having to convert all of my Excel glossaries (which all my clients seem to prefer these days) to Unicode text each time they send me an updated version is a bit of a pain.

Hmm. Not so high on the list, I see.

Hello Michael,

I agree with you that it would be just awesome that Xbench supported Excel files as glossary type, since it would really save a lot of time saving/converting Excel glossaries to TXT (and potentially removing/replacing the line breaks that Excell cells might contain) so that it could be in a Xbench-friendly format. Thumbs up for that suggestion!
